Production Supervisor

Immediate need for a Production Supervisor at a Manufacturing facility located in Covington, GA for a direct hire opportunity. This position is responsible to supervise assembly department to quickly identify opportunities, train the workforce and implement Lean Manufacturing for measurable improvements. This is growth role for a determined individual looking for an excited next step in their career.
Responsibilities for the Production Supervisor
Prioritize labor and material as needed to complete the production schedule.
Utilize computer system to verify and order materials as needed to complete the schedule
Confirm and execute work schedules, and review, change or update sales orders
Drive continuous improvement by improving Quality, Delivery and Cost.
Maintain head count to proper production schedule demand.
Direct employee's in proper safety methods, and basic work requirements
Requirements for the Production Supervisor
High School diploma/GED is required (Associates degree in management, engineering or related industry is highly preferred)
Minimum of 4 years supervising in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of safety practices and OSHA requirements
SPC (Statistical Process Control), Lean Manufacturing and or Six Sigma, APICS certification are a plus.
Experience with fabrication of industrial components a plus
