Sales Manger for Agribuiness

Developing new prospects and working entire lifecycle of the sales process
Selling KSAMS-pr and KSAMS-bdi (licensing and e-payments) software to State Departments of Agriculture
Selling Knowtify website subscriptions to pesticide industry manufacturers/distributors and associated service industries
Attending trade shows and industry association meetings and meeting with other trade organizations to promote KRS initiatives and develop new leads
Working with Marketing to bridge gap between marketing initiatives and sales efforts
Working with Development team if customers request customizations/enhancements or other additional software development
Follows company rules and employee guidelines, as established in the Kelly Products, Inc. Employee Handbook
Qualifications and requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proven ability to establish and accomplish goals
Thrives in a demanding, fast-paced work environment
Demonstrates aptitude for problem solving
Willingness to travel
Technology savvy
Flexibility to be on-call on evenings and during weekends
Previous experience selling software or services to government agencies (i.e. Confident networking with government staff up to Commissioner level)
Able to work independently and self- motivated to work without constant supervision; previous experience is a necessity in this area
Ability and willingness to handle entire life-cycle of sales process (cold calling, follow up, sales demonstrations, writing proposals, responding to RFP and closing the sale)
Once sale is complete, handing over to implementation/account manager for after sale implementation, training and support
Conscientious and treats others with openness, integrity and respect including a dedication to high quality standards for job and company
Desired:
College degree; 5-7 years previous sales experience; Sales program management experience; experience working in government sales; knowledge and experience in the Agribusiness industry

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
